I've snapped off one of the teeth in the kickstart mechanism, it now jams up when kicked - do you guys think running the bike as an electric start only will be achievable?
I've read that changing the Sparkplug to a well made one helps the starting of the motor, are there any other things I should be doing to get a good electric start everytime?

I've only used the electric start on my bike, never had to kick start the thing. Change your plug to NGK C7HSA - this does improve the starting. I take it your bike is a 50cc

The spark plugs are the same as the 50cc Boatians though. Have you never had to kickstart on cold mornings, or do you keep yours indoors?

naw it wouldnt hurt..i dont have a kickstart on mine cause the same thing happend with me..but when its cool it cranks right up on its on and when warm..just give it alil throttle and after a few secs it runs on its own till you shut it off. i dont know many who use there kickstands..but yea at times i wish i had it for when my battery dies but i keep it charged all the time so no worries
