I have purchased an 80cc upgrade kit for my Geely JL50QT-18 which has the 139QMB engine. I have all the instructions for tear down and reassembly. My question would be, while I have the engine out are there any other performance upgrades I can do to it, ie: port and polish, cam or crankshaft, clutch. Any info will be helpful. Also I'm over here in the U.S.A. and would need to get these parts in a timely manner. Thanks!!

i read somewhere that you can bore out the inlet port and im not sure but i remember someone saying you can do the same to the exhaust port but im not sure ally

port and polish the head is about all you can do.

Finished my 80cc conversion a couple of days ago. Running standard carb set up at the moment.
Performance is excellent. Plenty of bottom end for quick getaways.
Getting the head off or changing cams (source?) is easy later, I should just do the upgrade & see what you think. Certainly the cheapest upgrade per horsepower around.

I got my kit installed today, I'm getting alot of poppin' and backfiring on deceleration. I need to drill out the jets on the carb and find out how to advance the timing on these things if possible. The difference in acceleration is night and day. My top end went from 35-38mph to an easy 45-50+ mph. Man, I feel like a little kid on Christmas morning.

yer i want the 80cc kit my ped is crap engine wise at the mo think my valve gaps are out too cus it losses loads of power up hill and well on a flat if theres the slightes sight of a hilly bit it will only go 25 tops lol iv tryed all sorts of diffrent rollers and it dont make naff all diffrence lol.
