Fitting is fairly straightforward at least mine was the rings were gapped correctly and the piston. the piston with rings is easy to fit in the cylinder and there is no need for a ring compresser as the scootdawg description suggests.
The cam chain tensioner must be removed to reset it. which is not described well in the manual.
First remove the centre bolt and spring then the two mounting bolts. When removed the plunger must be reset fully this is done by pivoting the rachet clear of the teeth the plunger will then return. Re-fitting- The camshaft should be lined up with the timing marks etc then fit the camshaft retainer and tighten the nuts. Next fit the chain tensioner and and bolt down (two bolts) now fit the spring and centre bolt (the ratchet will be heard to click) then turn the engine over with the fan and the timing chain ist then tensioned.
There is a marked increase in power!! but the engine runs hotter with the new rings etc so dont set the idling to slow. the mixture on mine needs setting I have dropped the clip two notches and it is better (95ish main jet).
I have put the 6.5g rollers back and the acceleration is still better than with the 5.0g rollers.
I have only done about 20k so I will leave it as it is till for a while
