Had my scooter 8 months now, but i cant find the pink wire. im a bit scared about cutting a wire just incase my scoot wont work after. had a look at the guide and the only pink wire is a big fat one which is the battery wire. i have done the rest of the guide and new rollers(4.7g) but my scooter wont rev so not very fast. is there a better pic of the wire?

I've sent you an email with the latest version of the guide. Let me know if you get it.

The pink wire usually goes from next to the battery
There is normally a small box here which is called the cdi with a 6pin connector
One of these 6 wires is the pink wire
sometimes this wire is not even connected to anything and the cdi can also be in a diffrent place

Yep same here... And no screw in the top of the carb either !
It's managed to drag my lardy a$$ up to 32ish on the flat and a heady 45mph downhill... and it's only got 28miles on, so am hoping that as it free's off it'll improve..

have your scoots got revcounters? mine has, what I discovered was when new and standard, accelleration was bad, top speed was bad and it never revved over 5500rpm except when on stand........when I fitted my 4.7g rollers accelleration and top speed was much improved.now revs at around 7000rpm.weighed the original rollerweights and they turned out to be 8.5g......apart from the screw in the carb top,I did'nt have any other restrictions

checking the valves really helps but it can be greef to get them just right
once you've done 300km i'd set them, you should get about 35 - 40 outta the thing

Fitting a rev counter is very easy, it's just finding a cheap one!
