Hello everyone! I am a proud owner of a Baotian Sport in Sweden. I found this forum when looking for info about my scooter on the net. First of all I have a few questions about the Chinese scooter scene in the UK... Is it hard to get hold of spare parts over there? Over here, we have a few places where to get parts, and I think there's coming even more all the time. Any online shops in the UK with parts for Baotian? A good tip for you is to check out what the Swedes has to offer on the net. Offcourse it is in Swedish, but there's some pictures that might make some sense to you: www.baotianforum.com/www.yttertavle.se/160/moped/Bajan/baotian_start.htmwww.pinalen.se/reservdelar.htmThe first one is a nice forum. The second one is a guide of how to derestrict with pictures. The third one is a store with spareparts. If you click on your model, you get a manu with sections. Click further and you get some pictures that might come in handy.

Hi and welcome to this forum.
It would be great if you could translate the Derestriction guide into english for us.
There seems to be a couple of steps we are not doing!
Thanks

So how hard is it to get reasonably priced spareparts in the UK? Any webshops for that?
I don't think that I have the time to translate a lot for you. Maybe you can ask on the swedish forum for translations?

It's very hard getting spares over here, most people buy bits from ebay.

Yes I have one of those ABS thingies on my scooter. It is not a "real ABS". It doesn't have all those fancy sensors that you would find in a more expensive ABS. This one works great on asphalt but not as good on ice or mud. www.pinalen.se/ also has the ABS. I would think that mopshop.de ships to the UK since they ship to Sweden. I read on the Swedish forum, that someone emailed them in english and got an answer in german though :-)

I emailed Mopshop.de and got my answer very quick and in English! They do ship to the UK, but price depends on part being shipped, To view the site in English, use this translation site. babelfish.altavista.com/All you have to do is enter the website address in the address box, then choose the translation from the drop down box (German to English), and hey presto!

Mopshop has a lot of brand parts that fits Baotians. They have a lot of Malossi stuff that are of a lot higher quality than our original parts. For example the kevlar drive belts.
