Fitted one of these today and also took it out again Setup i used which might affect results of part 88 jet fitted 6g rollers Result Seemed to have more power but i lost top end speed and the sound was just stupid like you got a massive engine like a massive tractor or somthin, so much so i put my head down to hide in shame past this fit girl and allmost crashed Good points +You can get to 30mph doing only 2/3 throttle +bike looks better with a freeflow + easy to clean parts and back wheel Bad points - Full throttle or pulling away and the gash straining BRUM sound kicks in - loss of speed i think this part was a waste of money so i'd say dont get but i would try a diffrent freeflow filter as it might give a better result less sound and no loss of top end with better power maybe

sounds like you're giving it too much gas, the " Gash " sound is could be happening because you're overdosing with fuel.what size jet are you using?

I had about the same results. I don't think the stock carb works well with a freeflow. It needs a controlled input of air.

Even now it feels like my scooter should have more uumph. My 2 stroke moped pulls a lot harder than my scooter at 20-35mph speeds, it feels like a turbocharger kicking in. My scooter has better off the line acceleration, but is quite poor in accelerating from 20-30mph. Maybe an exhaust would help a lot.

lots of air and fuel (no.88 jet) nowhere for it to go??? exhaust is potentially the problem
