Take the spark plug out and see if its sparking, also check the side stand is up cos it acts like an immobiliser whens its down and also check to see if it has cylinder compression, if not check the valve clearances. Most likely an electrical fault somewhere

If you haven't fitted the main stand yet, are you trying to start on the side stand? As Hypojam said it won't start on the side stand at all. I did the same thing when I got my scooter, put the main stand on or start it with the side stand up. If it still doesn't start then see the post above from hypojam again!! Good Luck! #thumbs_up# #thumbs_up# #thumbs_up#

It's most probably your side stand. Have you tried to start it using the start button on the handlebars instead of the remote start. You do need to hold the brake ON while you try and start it too.

Yeah, you need to start it with the side stand up and the back brake pulled. The starter won't work anyother way.

Did you put the key in? hahaha. Remember you HAVE to pull the brake lever to use the starter button. Otherwise it should kick start just fine if the stand is hooked up right, but I'm not sure because the scooters in the states do not have the sidestand sensor.
My headlight is only powered when the scooter is on, so don't worry about that.
