Could make the fuel mixture burn too lean and cause the piston to melt if a freeflow filter is used with stock jet

chcknugget "I wouldn't use a freeflow filter with the stock carb. It will probably hamper performance and sound too loud" top speed has remained the same at 50 (according to my speedo) sound level has definitly raised, but I'm enjoying 78db of jinlun I'm glad it works for you, but there is a huge difference between the stock filter and a freeflow filter. I would not do this unless you upjet, however a 4 stroke is more forgiving than a 2 stroke. In my opinion the extra noise doesn't sound any good and just isn't worth it.

I use a UNI-filter 3"diam 4" long 30degree neck. with a rain coat for road goo It does not change the sound it only make it deeper. Yes any good vendor of filters will warn you jet up or you will cause damage to your engine. before jet and free flow top speed was 42 MPH now it 50MPH jet both low and high up one step low #35 to #38 Hi #85 to #88 iridium plug. have not changed my weight but that is next RC
