my scooter will only go 25mph and is very jerky does anyone know how to solve this?

check the lead and the plug thsi happend to me the lead wasent on properly.

Hi, Check if the brass screw is still in the carburetor. Thats the only thing I've deristricted and runs 55-60 km/h now

A bit more information would be useful. for instance, 50cc, 125cc? de-restricted or not? what make, what mileage?
Or we could guess, which won't help much, or you could read the forum, probably find your problem answered there.

Try this
1/ if its jerky the fuel mixture is probably to rich which is fouling the spark plug with to much carbon which cant be burnt off
2/ The head of the spark plug might not be the correct width and needs to be alterd and checked with a feeler gauge
3/ if you have taken out the brass screw on the carb lid off and moved the clip on the pin then try moving the pin to other notches this could be letting to much fuel in messing with the air fuel mixture and fouling up the spark plug
