Hello can anyone help me my carb diaphragm (the rubber bit in the carb) and also the piston assembly needle needs replacing. can anyone help me out? or even know where i can either buy these parts or a whole new complete carb??

www.nrp-carbs.co.uk/Try these guys they are spot on for carb spares, make sure you have the carb manufacturers name and any markings on it.

the make of the carb is CVK there are 2 sets of numbers on it they are: LH130 the other set is: 04020se do these numbers mean anything?

If i remember rightly cvk is a range of carbs fitted to many jap bikes and are manufactured by KEIHIN. Contact nrp with this info and see if they can help

Yeah, tell us what happened to your carb?
I think it would be easiest (and cheapest) to repair the one you have.
I have read that you should not put gas additives in your tank because they'll ruin your rubber diapragm. Also, carb cleaner will cause it to swell and not fit (I've experienced with a few different carbs), but if you wait a couple days it will go back to normal. Make sure to take out the rubber if your spraying stuff in there!

ok well this is what happend:
i was curising along at 30mph in a 30 zone, the zone ended so i twisted the acelator and nouthing happend the enegine just when back to tick over if you opend the acclerator anymore than halfway, so i took it to my local motorcycle repair place and tehy had a look and there was 4 splits in the dirphragm, now i have to look for a new one. so there you have it, will a carb from any tashain fot a baotion 9qt?

Yes it will without a doubt, so long as the bike you get it from is a 4 stroke and not a 2 stroke
