Got & fitted 4.7 gram rollers today £9.99 for 6 from ebay using 3 x Orginal and 3 x 4.7 mix Seems Much better more speed about 3mph i guess means my bike is not 100% worn in have to go a bit easy, also better accel and revs Credit to hypojam looked in halfords today Question was wondering if there is any diffrence with spark plugs apart from the treads saw some smart titanium plugs

Do all 6, 4.7g rollers, be much much better like that. and there would be NO difference between titanium blah blah plug and the normal NGK spark plug. Don't fall into the trap of clever advertising

Wome bikes came with either an average 6.5g weights, and some came with an average 8g weights.

Yes, but some chinese bikes had variations in the stock weights. Some here in the states have had variations of up to 1 gram in weights. One person had 6 stock rollers with all different weights!

surely that must be down to poor Quality control ? would'nt that create some kind of variator destroying imbalance? #dunno# my original weights were all 8.5g i was surprised,I had read many threads saying standard was 6 or 6.5 maybe mine were just assumed to be 6 or 6.5 but were'nt in the miniscule % that's required to be tested for QC......maybe, wee lao could'nt be bothered calibrating the scales one day, so there's a batch of Jinlun JL50QT-4s struggling to do 30 derestricted cos they've all got overweight weights........... #dunno#

Don't know why you ended up with 8.5g rollers!

Checked em today All was 6.5g
the 4.7 dont seem to be working as well as i was first thinking need to test more tho the revs are deffinatly much higher and there is more power but i noticed a slight speed drop which is a bit gash over revs, going to replace all with malossi 6g

I'm going to do the experimental 4.7/8.5 combination at the weekend. I've done about 150 miles with my 4.7s and have enjoyed them so far. I'd still like to see higher revs/speeds, at 45 my jl is only doing 7000rpm (peak power is meant to happen around 7500)......I was thinking the 4.7s might help to get the 8.5s spinning and unleash something a bit better.............. #sprint#

If you ran at 7500 rpms all the time eat would eat gas really bad too!
