The description, (below), seems to have some differences, and the 60 km/h (37 mph) does not seem to be the European spec for these scooters, if this is true, getting it registered as a genuine moped could be a problem. The max range of 50 km suggests an electric vehicle, the tyre size is given as 16" when the standard size is 10", the drive is given as chain, not belt, the tank capacity is given as 4l instead of 6.5l, and the battery is listed as 12v 7ah, when the standard battery is 12v 4 ah. I would suggest asking a few questions about the description if thinking of ordering one
Spec. Engine single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled Dispalcement(cc) 49cc(25:1) Max Speed(km/h) 60 Max Range(km) 50 Max Load(kg) 100 Brake Drum/Disc Spark plug gap 0.6~0.7mm Start Manual and electric Fuse 10A Battery 12V 7Ah Fuel Tank 4L Spark plug gap 0.6-0.7mm Fuse 10A Transmission chain Tire 16" Product Size(cm) 190 83 117 NW(kg) 104 GW(kg) 123

The guy has described it all wrong! That's what would worry me most, the lack of that much attention to detail in the advert, also if the scooter is an unknown make, (although from the picture it is obviously the same as a Baotian etc.), are the insurance companies, and DVLA offices, going to accept it easily.

I like this part: Please Note: Unlike most sellers we send our Scooters Fully Assembled, Fully Working and Ready to Drive, taking the pain out of our customers having to go through the Assembling process. Doesn't mention the fact that registering the damn thing can be a nightmare!!

Dear Phil,
Some evil yob tried to steal my BTQT50-11 with 100 centimeters on the clock, from the hospital car park on Sat as I was working an extra shift to help out the night nurse that had gone sick, patching up the ones that were too drunk to steal other peoples stuff in the minor injuries unit They tried to screwdriver the ignition switch and bent the steering trying to break the steering lock. Either they were disturbed or the Chinese tecnology defeated them. I drove home at a weird angle and have bent it back this morning to a reasonable angle. Onwhat page of the manual is the steering lock and where are the steering colunmn bolts tha they have bent ? There is some looseness in the steering now. The steering lock comes on the offside now.

Hello there!! To be honest I've no idea what page it's on, have you tried looking at each page? I know it's a big manual but there might be something there....
