What is the make of the carb on a BT50QT-9?
Does anyone know?

Dont think its a particular make I think its a CV design carb, correct me if im wrong

.....first the jets are keihin and the low speed jet is not hard to find- the correct part number is N424-21-XXX, just replace the x with the jet number. The stock jet is a number 35- ie N424-21-035 this is the smallest lspd jet that is made in this style. jets come in 35-38-40-42-45 etc, ive had good success with a number 38 the number 40 is a little rich. in the stock cv carb the lspd jet controls the fuel delivery from idle to about 1/3 throttle, and yes the lspd jet does have some effect on the high end but you need to balance it with a hspd jet.the stock hspd jet is a number 85 ie 99101-116-085 this jet is not so easy to find as with the lspd jets they come in the same size steps with a number 50 being the smallest. im not sure on my selection for the hspd jet the 88 and the 90 seam to be giving the best results ive tried as large as 95 way too rich. ........... #sprint#
