Help iv had my bike for about 4 months now and its done 1114km on the old clock i noticed the gears wouldnt change from low to high. and after a while it wouldnt go any faster than 5mph. wen i gt home i checked the bike over. and looked at the gear oil. it was empty!!!!! so i topped it back up and it seemed fine but the gears were not engaging like they used to. ;D and just lately the things started to not change gear again. checked the oil and its fine. my bike is a BT49QT-7 Any help please?

i Know there isnt any gears i just find it easier to say that. iv been told that it runs on clutch sytem called a tranfusanal clutch system where it compressers the clutch to make it higher etc. iw ill check the belt though. i like the bike youve got it must be a jinlun QT4 its the same as mine only mines black.

No im nt confusing the oils. i know me around the bike and have got the correct oils for it. it just odd because its not old enough for things 2 just go wrong will check rollers though tell you if it works.

I was thinking the rollers could either be flattened on one side, or just clogged up with dust etc. I was also thinking it could be the main tension spring in the torque/clutch assembly at the rear.

The Torque spring in the clutch is just a large-ish spring. They are easily available. if yours is snapped, or overstressed, it would stop the transmission woriking correctly. This seller has replacement springs. They are the large ones sold singularly. www.scooter-assassins.com/ChineseScootersStartPage.html
