My Freeflow Filter is completely covered in road filth! The rear wheel just throw all the road grit, mud and water up onto it I dont think this is any good atall so thats why im going to change back to my airbox I will lose some power but i think for practicality reasons the air box is better

Did you try if you really will loose power with the original airbox? Just remember to remove the air restrictor inside it.
I have seen some people attach the free air flow filter at the end of a bent pipe, so that the filter is in a better place.

Its just a plastic tube which you rip out.
It didn't really look like a restriction to me

Yes thats the bit. I don't think it does actually restrict anything

That is the "air restrictor" I was talking about. Removing it and not having a bigger main jet is a no no. That thing restricts the amount of air that passes through the hole into the box.
Don't forget to adjust the air/fuel screw after changing anything.
Having a free air flow filter or the original box SHOULD not do a difference. I know that I have told you this before. But then again all these chinese wonders are built differently...
Remember to test carefully on the same piece of pavement riding the same direction. The placebo effect can be a factor when it makes more noise with the free air flow filter.

Definitely not the placebo effect I'm certain Ive lost power and the bikes power delivery has become rough and inconsistent I think the fuel mixtures have gone a bit wrong
