Hello, I just spent an hour exchanging rollers and testing to see which rollers worked best with my scoot. As you can see, the rollers I had came in weights of 3g-8g in sets of three. A combination of top speed with the best acceleration is my goal. 1) The first set I tried was 3x3g and 3x4g (~3.5g). The high revs were incredibly sickening... It only went 20mph so that wouldn't do. 2) The next set was 3x4g and 3x6g (~5g). The revs were still too high and the scoot topped out at a measly 32mph. 3) The next set was 3x5g and 3x7g (~6g). I was expecting the best performance from this combination, but alas, it would only cruise at 38 mph and was still over revving. 4) The next set was 3x6g and 3x8g (~7g). From a stop it had good acceleration. It had a wonderful top speed of +40mph. When accelerating from 20 mph, the acceleration from 20 to 30 mph was incredilbly slow- but this never happened from a stopped start. 5) Finally I settled on 3x6g and 3x7g (~6.5g). I suspect that these may be near the same weight combo that the stock rollers were. Except the acceleration from a stop or from 20mph was just as good. Top mph was +40 (my speedo only goes to 40). What roller combos worked best for you guys? What is the weight of your stock rollers?

4G rollers all round works best for me You using those heavier rollers shows that your bike is generating more power than mine, meaning that mine is most likely only a 50cc Correct me if ive got this wrong

Hi, The roller wieghts are in the transmision (near the kickstart lever), the wieght of the rollers determines the point the auto system changes gear. The lighter the rollers, the faster the engine revs and therfore you get more power to go up hills etc. The standard Baotian XT comes with 6.5 gram rollers. They are in sets of six.
