I would change your oil as soon as you get 300km on the clock. The oil that comes with the bike is a bit 'rubbish'. Replacing it with a quality semi synthetic oil is essential to the life of your bike. I also have a BT-59QT-9
I would also change the gear oil for a semi synthetic gear oil, at around 600km

kewl thanks for the info For future ref can you tell me also what oil is best i hear car oil might not be so good me 2nd question, The qt9 seems quite heavy about 1 3/4 times more heavy then any other 50cc i been on is there any real reason for this i was thinking maybe qt9 frame was designed to be 125cc+

How heavy is it? My 50cc is about 200 lbs which is much larger than most 50cc's. I can't imagine yours being much heavier.

My Scoot is one of the lightest around, compared to the Piaggios and Peugeots
Think about 80kg

went on a 250cc scooter when i went to bulgaria cant remember make was lighter then qt9 tho and also the one i trained on and my friends scoot and my other frends bike and infact pretty much everyone i know has a lighter bike on the good side feels like more of a brick then a toaster hypojam, your the rollers guy right as i understand you put a mix of 3.9 and orginal 6gram rollers in every other was a 3.9 ? the nearest to 4 gram you had any problems so far with this set up? and i was thinking what if all were replaced with 5 gram would this be as good ?

I used to have my setup like this: ( 6 - 4 - 6 - 4 - 6- 4 ) This way worked very well, it didn't rev too high but it kept a good, stable continuous power output now i have all 4g rollers now which makes bike rev near the limit all the time ;D
