ok, i have sort of done it i took of the black lid to the carb and followd Billy's instructions but i couldent get the washer off so i left that, and put it all back togeteher and took off the brass screw on the underside of the carb lid, and my gosh what a difrence already and i hardly did anything, i snipped the pink wire about 2 weeks ago but i still felt loads more aceleration. the only thing i did notice was that sometimes when i pulled away it acelerated, but then lost all power for about a second and then came back again. this maby to do with the washer not being moved yet? can anyone help? and if someone could tell me how to remove the washer as well? thanks all!

Dont remove the washer on the carb needle If you can, lower the washer on the needle.
My carb needle washer isnt moveable yours might be like that aswell
The loss of power for a second you described may be something to do with your fuel mixtures being wrong, try adjusting the idle fuel mixture

There is 2 washers that go on the needle, a lose 1 atthe end and a fixed 1, it doese look like the fixed 1 can be moved as there are about 5 groves below it, i just didnt want to be to brutal with it, so unless theres a way of getting it off without forcing it off that would be good. also how do you ajust the fuel mixture, i cant find any threads on it? thanks alot for your help Hypojam im slowly getting there

The Flat Headed Brass screw needs to be set at about 2 to 3 screws out from in because of the cold i recommend 2 out

to take the fixed washer off i used a pair of pliers and pulled it off and then put it back on using them. Easy peasy that way plus u dont end up bending it either.
