hi guys, i've being tinkering again today, on the carb needle i have it set on the bottom notch, and i've installed a homemade plastic washer under the circlip, but above the rubber seal, this efffect is pushing more fuel through hence more power, its now achieving, just shy of 40mph with me on the flat (14 stone bruiser) it even pulls 35 mph with my 12 year old son on the back, never revs over 6000 rpm. I reckon by the time its run in and I get some decent synthetic oil in it'll gain another 5-10 mph. Question is, can I tweek the carb any further ? by the way took out the 3.6gm variator rollers tonight, as they make it rev too high, but give no more speed. keep on scooting

You will notice a difference as the bike 'runs-in', it will just seem to 'free up' one day, and then it will be about 5-10 mph faster!

Anyone can make their scooter zoom across the page! In the main reply box, there is a botton that looks like this <-M That's the Marquee button. highlight the bits you want to move across the page and then press the <-M button
