Its looks like you dont have a pink wire, which would make me assume that you dont have any electrical restriction!
The only restriction on your bike must be in the carb
hope this helps

The restriction could be in the variator, It consists of a ring on the front variator shaft. I think there are pic some where on this forum, if you can't find them I will post them up on here.

The Zhonghyu bikes are for sure, some Baotians have been found to have the variator restriced. It looks like this and the rings look like this. (There is only 1 ring in each bike)

His scooter may not be restricted at all... Mine had no pink wire, brass screw or ring on the variator and only went around 30mph under normal conditions, 35 w/wind, and 40 down hill w/wind. These 50cc's just don't go much faster!
80cc on the other hand...

I bought one today. They are £25. I'll be putting new rollers in in the morning (4g) they are the cheap ebay ones, if they work ok over the next wekk or so, I;ll go and buy some Mallossi Ones from Beedspeed.
The cheap ones are good for testing purposes, you don't have to spend a fortune to find they are no good.

Well I put the new rollers in this morning (4g).
I used the impact driver to get the nut off the variator, what a breeze, very easy now!! Installed the new rollers and cleaned the variator faces and roller channels, put it all back together, all in about 20 mins.
Went out for a test ride, and WOW! I can now do just under 40mph up the hills near me (I used to do around 25mph), and it doesn't seem to have affected the top speed, if anything it seems faster!!
Doing around 45+ on the flat, and off the clock (50+) down slight hills.
I have lost around a stone in weight since going on holiday though #woohoo#
GET SOME 4g ROLLERS FITTED!! #emot114#
