Just a guess, the DVLA would want the moped, (now motorcycle), in for inspection, to check if it still complies with the certificate of conformity, particularly on emissions. The insurance companies reactions would probably range from wanting to increase the premiums steeply, or canceling the insurance altogether, as they would be dealing with an unknown quantity, and insurance companies don't like doing that.

So basicaly when i get my moped and de-restrict it, i should keep it on the Down low? lol

I haven't derestricted by scooter. ;D If you derestrict your scooter and don't tell the insurance company your insurance is void plus you'll be riding the bike illegally if you haven't done a CBT. Bad boys, bad boys, what ya gonna do, what ya gonna do when they come for you..... #afro#
