I bought myself an 12v impact wrench today from Argos for £25! Without any problems the wrench removed the variator nut I fitted the new 4 gram rollers! Now the bike is absolutely amazing! its so much better at accelerating, climbing hills and everything else!!! Its always has high revs now so Ive always got the power when i need it I highly recommend to anyone to fit some lighter rollers to their Chinese scoots! >:(Im So Happy

About bloody time Did the impact wrench work without holding the pulley, or did you still need to lock it somhow?

Well done fella, you've probably started a trend now. You should have done a step-by-step guide for the forum complete with pics though.

Top speed is the same! Acceleration Is Amazing Im So Happy With My Scoot Now Make sure your bike is well run-in before changing to lighter rollers because the engine is revving much higher than it usually would!

Thanks Hypojam I'd seen one used on a shopping channel, and it looked impressive, but everything looks impressive on there It seems brilliant that it removed the bolt without holding the pulley, just got to find the cigarette lighter adapter on my Baotian now

Don't you just hate it when that happens. I always seem to buy electrical items and then find a better spec model at a cheaper price about a month later.
