No, not yet they only arrived yesterday. I work regular nights and have been working all week! Today I'm wall papering the hall, well supposed to be... I am going on holiday next Friday, so have loads of stuff to do! I may get chance tomorrow, hopefully, I'll let you know how they perform.

A word of caution.... If you're trying to get the Variator Nut off, I wouldn't recommend holding the flywheel on the right hand side of the bike. If a lot of force is used, you could end up twisting the crank. I got the Variator Nut off by holding the sprocket that the starter motor drives, it was very tight. Good luck!

What did you use to hold the sprocket? I've seen a special tool for this, but not one for this bike, however the one for the speedfight looks as if it may fit, but to buy one to find out is going to cost me £15! Suppose I could always Ebay it if its wrong.

I used a chain wrench to hold the sprocket. (on the left hand side of the crank, the sprocket driven by the starter motor).
I think that particular sprocket is made of hardened steel and the pressure is spread out around it's circumference.
I couldn't see any damage to the sprocket after removing / refitting it.
