Hey all, I want to derestrict my carb There are 2 different threads one says remove the washer underneath the black cap the other says to adjust the washer on the pin . Can someone clear this up for me thanks dmilo

if your engine is 80cc then it should allready be derestricted

Could you post a pic of your carb so I can see what style it is?
I think you mean there is a thread on taking the brass screw out, and another on moving the clip on the pin down a notch. I hightly doubt there is a brass screw in your carb - It seems like they're only found in UK scooters (like the pink wire)

Hey Chuck, heres a pic of my carb sorry it took so long and your right took apart my carb today and its derestricted already I believe, there was no washer on the pin well guess I could put on a better exhaust dmilo

Freeing up the exhaust could do a lot for these things, I just haven't been able to find another scooter with exhaust stud holes 2" apart!

Ive cut a big whole in my old exhaust! i will take some pictures tommoro and show you lot whats inside them, it looks quite wierd to me
