Hey guys, I just thought I'd let you know that my scooter had a plate blocking off the functionality of the chrome pipe. If you remove the pipe, the plate should be located on the junction between the pipe and the cylinder head! In the pic the plate is under the 2 large chrome nuts. I removed it and my bike tops out maybe 3mph faster - I don't know how fast because my speedo doesn't go that high! Your scooter will be noticeably louder though. The pipe is a breather valve to release head heat and pressure. Let me know if you guys have it!

My scooter doesn't have this chrome pipe. It is just capped off on the head with the two chrome nuts.

My scooter doesn't have this chrome pipe. It is just capped off on the head with the two chrome nuts. Just as well, it's just a hole that feeds into the exhaust port. I capped mine off again today to test the difference and it doesn't sound like a harley anymore, so that's a plus.
