Hello everyone can anyone help me with my NEW starway QT-7 49cc. it has only got 79km on the clock and its just not working! it stops running after going a few meters and then won't start. or it will start but as soon as you ride it, it stops again. i have tried with the rev screw and looked at the auto choke but it still is stopping! the guys at the garage say it may not be getting air but it denfintley is. i just can not ride it any where because it breaks down!! any ideas thanks

Did you get it from Argos? If so you should have a half decent warranty which you should take advantage of.

Could be the engine valves have been wrongly set, but if it's new then the repair should be under warranty, or a replacement machine offered.
It's worth noting that basic consumer rights extend to scooters. I'm always amazed by the number of people who buy new bikes and then spend months going back and forward to the dealers with a string of problems. If the machine does not do what it is intended to do then under law you are entitled to a full refund as the goods are not of merchandisable quality, end of story.
I know this as after 5 weeks owning a very troublesome Piaggio B125 I gave up on the comapny and asked for my money back in full - got it within 48 hours ! Within another 48 I'd bought the Honda - thank god for the Japanese !
