Hi all i've just found out that my helmet will not fit into my underseat storage i thought it would go as theres plenty of room, if i really push hard on the helmet and push the seat cover down hard it does close but i think it may do damage to the seat lock and the helmet if i do this. does anyone else have this problem?

Buy yourself a top box, there's a link to a good company in the Links section. I bought my old one from them for £35 plus £10 delivery.

I have to push on mine, but not too hard. I think if you have a full face helmet it is just that little bit too big. An open face one would be fine I think.
I thought it was just me, I got a big 'ed!!

i already have a top box, but its no way big anoth for a full face helmet, plus i dont like having it on there, i may just have to put up with it and force it down every time i put it in there. cheers guys, just seeing if other people have the same prob, which alot of people are

My baotian seat needs a firm push down, not too much but a slight push and it clicks in. However push it down to hard and you start to form a compression on your helmet which is a bad idea incase you fall off, it wont absorb the shock as much.

my underseat storage doesn't fit my helmet either so i bought a Givi top box, it fits in easily with gloves and spare trousers.

It works fine for my helmet. I can also fit my reflective vest & a tiny tool bag under the seat. Then again, I wear a half helmet, (I wanted maximun vision & hearing!)

I've got the larger box from Alpha Custom Bikes (Copy of the Givi) the helmet (Full face) fits OK if on its side - Alpha said that that was the only way it fits, but there is no pressure on the helmet. I don't like leaving the helmet on its side, so it's only stored in th ebox for quick visits to shops etc, when I don't want to carry the helmet. Rest of the time, I bring the helmet into my house or office. #afro#

Put your helmet in upside down. It works for me!
