Those of you who have read my previous posts will know that I have been looking for a scoot for by son who recently turned 16. Anyway his girlfriend has now decided that she would also like a scooter as well, so I emailed a couple of the companies on ebay to see whether they were willing to do deals on a double purchase.
The companies I contacted were:
JL PRICE TRADING UK LTD who advertise BaoTian 50QT-9's for £510 including delivery but you have to assemble half the bike yourself. They Quoted £980 for two bikes delivered to the same address. Total price including DVLA registration £1086.
woodchip35 who advertises BaoTian 50QT-9's for £574 including delivery with only the mirrors and top box to fit. He quoted £1123 for two bikes delivered to the same address. Total price including DVLA registration £1229.
theinternetbikeshop who advertise BaoTian 50QT-9's for £634 including delivery, registration and tax. They Quoted £1200 for two bikes delivered to the same address.
I have decided to go for the Internet Bike Shop option, for a number of reasons, firstly I know nothing about putting bikes together, secondly I'm too idle to go and queue at the DVLA and thirdly I've read some good reports about them on this forum.
So hopefully by the end of this week I will have two of these parked in my garage, photos to follow in the showroom once they have arrived.

Yeah you're best bet is to buy from The Internet Bike Shop, a lot of us on here have had problems trying to register our Chinese scoots so using a company that will do it for you is always a good idea.

Rusty,
I thought that as well when I read it but just couldn't be bothered to honour it with a reply.
I notice looking back through this guys previous posts, that he was all for buying one at the end of August and has obviously changed his opinion over the past few weeks.
The way I see it is why buy a second hand scooter that some young 16 year old has revved the butt off, when you can buy a brand new one with a warranty for the same price.
