thanks billy green for that, so the lighter they are the better yes? yea if you could write a guide when u have spare time that would help me a lot when i go to fit them, unless there's a guide on this forum? so are the ones in that link the ones i need, and are you sure that there not the same as the ones already in my baotian BT50QT-9. and this is interesting what it says about them "IF LIGHTER THAN YOUR STANDARD ROLLERS THEY WILL GIVE MORE ACCELERATION, IF HEAVIER THEY WILL GIVE SOME MORE TOP SPEED"

The ones that cames as standard in my BT50QT-9 were 6.7 grammes
The ones in the above link are the ones that will fit our bikes, I know it says Honda, Sym, Kymco etc. but I have found that a lot of parts that fit the Kymco Top Boy or Cobra 50, seem to fit our bikes!
As for the acceleration versus speed thing, I'm going to have to test that when I get my new rollers fitted.

Logic tells me that if they are lighter, they will throw out quicker, thus better acceleration. Heavier means they will stay in longer thus slower acceleration....not sure about a better top speed, however, i can see why it might mean that, just cant explain it! Mal

I have put some 5.7g rollers in and they don't seem to have an effect, but they are very close to what was in already. I am putting the lighter ones in to see if they make a bigger difference. I am going to Florida on holiday, we are doing the Disney Land thing.

Went out riding with 2 other people with 50cc bikes today! one of them had a restricted honda x8, and the other one had a HUGE aprillia 50cc dirt bike thing which im sure was fully derestricted! Anyways they had better hill climbing and acceleration, but they didnt have the high speed power which mine did! So i beat both of them on the open flat road, lol. It was funny seeing my little taishan overtaking the huge aprillia!

If you fully de-restrict your Baotian BT50QT-9 you can do speeds same as hypojam. I do around 45mph on flat and 30mph on uphill. 50mph on downhill which was awesome !!!!! However are they not air cooled or summit?? Making them prone to overheating??? Not sure clear me up on that please!

You dont ever need to worry about overheating! Its all been designed to cope with being thrashed! drove my bike constant for about an hour, flat-out not stopping once with no problems. lol!
