For the second time in 6 months my wee Honda has been blown over in gale force winds...curses !
The first time was last February at a time I was still keeping the bike outside. The storm that hit Scotland was so fierce it nott only knocked over the scoot but blew my garden shed 6 feet down the path! The upshot of that night was the fitting of a new bigger shed which I could park the scoot inside. Damage to the scoot was limited to a few scrapes and tiny indent on the front side bodywork.
Yesterday I parked as normal in central Edinburgh and went to work. Decided to stay in town that night as the wind was pretty rough which makes crossing the Forth Bridge more than a little risky (I live in Dunfermline). Walked into central Edinburgh this morning to find the bike lying on it's side ! So now I've got a new selection of scrapes to cover up with the touch up paint.
Beware the wind folks, it can be nasty.

In 3 weeks time I'll be getting a new shed, 10 feet by 6 feet - will that be big enough? ;D It's even got double doors on the front to make parking easier. I've only got a plastic sheet to cover my scooter and in a strong wind it blows off so I thought I'd splash out on a new shed.
