Has anyone tried, or in fact managed to fit an alarm to the Baotian BT50? I have an alarm ready to be fitted, just wanted to know if anyone has done it already. When I fit mine I will take photos and put it in the hints & tips section

I've seen them for sale on ebay for around £30 so keep us posted on how yours works out as I'm quite interested in buying one.

yes I manage to install the alarm in my scooter its quit easy and let me tell u all these alarms on eBay are same there is only 6 wires to connect. 2 orange or yellow for indicators 1 earth which is black I pink one goes with one cdi unit end 1 grey one connects with other cdi unit end 1 red one goes in ignitation switch this is the installation it took me about 30 mins of doing this job you don’t have to open anything just open the battery compartment take the battery compartment out and there u will find all the cable going in to different thing ....so just connect the alarm cables with them u will find... orange ...red...cables there and stick the black one any where on the scooter body as its -tive...and u have to cut the -tive cable going in to cdi unit and then attach one end with pink and one with grey. But make sure u r cutting the right wire.cos it can burn the whole wiring.
