Hey all, I decided not to go for the 150cc it was too large of a bike so I went for a Meitian turbo-3 80 cc upgrade right out of the show room it did 40 mph going up a steep hill and 45 on the straight I cant wait to break this in thanks dmilo

Looks great! Are you going to have to crack down and register and insure that beast?

Hey all, I love my new 4 stroke but I have alot to learn about the motor and maintenace I wanted to put some pure castor synthetic in it . who knows what cheap sht the dealers use. so I undid a small screw towards the back and underneath . and very small amount of oil came out I knew something was wrong . I accidentally drained the rear differential oil (transmission ) I brought it back to the dealer and he helped me out . I felt kind of foolish but oh well gotta learn some how just thought id share got 80miles on my new beast but I cant part with my old ride its too flashy

Hey Chcknugget I believe you have a modified or upgraded 49cc did you get a plate for it ? my title of origin says its a 49cc but it really has a 80cc upgrade I registered it as a 49cc the other day here in Ma you only need a registration sticker for a 49cc. so I will see what the police think first the first fine is only $25 but considering going legal my insurance agent quoted me a decent price . thanks dmilo

There's no way the police would know... The dimensions of the 80cc are exactly the same as the 50cc. I doubt the police would pull you over for breaking the speed limit, but then again there are plenty of 50cc 2 strokes that can go 55mph...
If you get it registered as a legit 80cc it's considered a motorcycle and you need a motorcycle endorsement and motorcycle insurance as well.

O I forgot, I'm intrigued by your new 80cc ride. Do you have any info about the carburetor setup (brand, size?). I'm looking into retrofitting a kitted xr50 fuel setup into mine. Could you post a picture of the carb so I could see its style and how it fits?

Hey dmilo, I hate to bug, but does it look like your carb is any different than the one on your 50cc? Is there any way to tell what brand it is?
