Im pretty sure the engines on these taishans will never blow up! My bike has always been thrashed and still no engine problems I believe the rest of the bike will fall apart before anything serious does happen Although the recent commuter's sound as though they have a much better build quality compared to the old taishan sports The sports in my opinion are absolute death traps Got Bike sometime in march 2004 Picture Taken On 13 July 2005

Did you get scared taking all those bits off? I think the build quality on all Chinese scooters is questionable but not as bad as some will have you believe.

I had to take the cylinder head of because i had accidentally ripped the spark plug threads out So everytime i tried to start the bike the spark plug would blow out of the head
