I have a Boatian BT50QT-9 my belt drive broke. i have bought a replacement belt but i am unable to put it on. i am under the understanding that there usually is a tensioner screw or something like that(does anyone know where that is?). i wanna get my scooter bak on the road as soon as possible, so any help would be useful! I have taken the 'driver assy' appart so that i could put the belt on, but the 'driver pully assy' wont budge, as the nut is too small for my inpact wrench and every time i try to turn it it just rotates the bike wheel. Any help would be great!! Dave

There's no tension screw. You will need to use an impact wrench to remove the variator nut and the clutch assembly nut... Variator nut: Sorry i have no detailed pictures of the clutch nut.... But its pretty much the same as the variator nut, just a little smaller Hope this helps

no need to worry about the clutch(rear) end......i've had my belt off a couple of times, as long as you can get the variator off, you should'nt have any problems....

Lord I wished I could have seen this pic before I changed my belt. Belt was shredded so really strained to know what went where and that only an impact wrench could get that variator nut off. Wouldn't have screwed up my magneto. Somebody spank me.
