My Baotiaon 50-9 was due to be delivered today, I made some space for her and had my NGK spark plug ready, my Insurance Policy started and was ready to get Scooting........ #woohoo#
But alas, the Scoot has been delayed by a "DVLA Spot Check" that has pushed things back a couple of days, so I ain't getting her until Monday or Tuesday now ...... #crying#
By the time the Scoot comes it will hvae been 10/11 days since I ordered and paid for it...... but then again, it is coming fully registered, taxed and PDI'd....
At least I have my Registration Number ! Just no Scooter !
#6# Patience..... Patience... Patience.... What the hell is this patience thing that people talk about ??!!

Mine was about 14 days after they got the insurance details. Boatian UK had to chase up the delivery people for me. But withing half an hour of it arrriving I was on the road. I would wait until you do your first oil change to change your plug, just enjoy it for now.

Cheers folks - hopefully it's be tomorrow.... Llexeter (warehouse-robot on eBay) claim it left them on Friday so it darn well should be here by tomorrow... it was supposed to be a 'next day' delivery so technically I thought it may have come today but hey what's another day!
I didn't have to send off any docs - not sure Llexeter do this.... they claim to have a "special relationship" with the DVLA and don't need to produce a Insurance Doc to register the bike.
It certainly works, the bike is fully reg'd and I have my reg number... so hopefully I'll have a lovely graphite scoot to go with it tomorrow !

You may find that the v5 is in the traders name and you may have to re-register it in yours, technically making you the 2nd owner. This happened to me with D&K motorcycles, but it don't look too bad on the log book because its for such a short time, any potential buyer from you will realize whats happened.

Yeah, I reckon you might be right Enu about the trader reg'ing it in their name.... not too worried about that (depreciation isn't a big factor on a £500 scoot LOL!).
Well it's Tuesday morning 10.20 and I ain't had a call from any couriers to check when I'm going to be in.... so I may be being overly pessimistic but I have a feeling in my spleen that it ain't going to come today either ........
