Just registered after spotting the listing on ebay, great forum you have here!
I have just bought my first scooter from ebay- Baotian BT125T-2, a new model I believe.
I am due to have the 125cc scooter delivered on Thursday this week and I am very excited as this is my first scooter. Apparently it is being delivered in a crate.
I brought it from a company called 'theinternetbikeshop'.
I hope that my purchase is a good one and I'm hoping that you guys/girls can give me some advice on whether these bikes are good or not and whether anyone has used the same company. Their feedback on ebay is very good so I'm assuming that I'm on to a winner, not sure that I can go far wrong for £800 incl. delivery, tax, registration etc.
Also if anyone can guide me on any info in regards to good insurance companies, how the scooter should be run-in, your advice would be much appreciated.
cheers and I look forward to your replies :-)

One other thing that I would be very grateful for information on is:
My CBT test is booked for next week, do I have to complete this first in order to get insurance sorted or will they require me give details of the CBT?

Welcome aboard Jimmy, good to have you here!! Yes you will need your CBT before you can insure your scooter, I'm an old fart (30) and so I didn't need to take a CBT to ride my 49cc. There's quite a few on here with Baotian scooters and I've definitely heard theinternetbikeshop mentioned - type it into the search box and see what comes up. To insure your bike the best bet seems to be Lexum or Bennets, there's a few topics about insuring a Baotian in this section - one member can even get you £10 off with Lexum. To run my bike in all I did is put it up on the centre stand and gently rev it just so that the back wheel spins at a fair pace. You won't add any miles to the clock but it's the best thing you can do. I had to wait 4 weeks between delivery and when my bike was finally registered (you can read my horror story in the Trouble With Certificate of Conformity topic) so I had plenty of time to run the bike in. Remember to change the oil after the first 300km's.
