Hi all. New member here, i bought my 16 yr old son a Baotian scooter in March, he has already succesfully managed to wreck it! He's had a lot of work done on it including putting a new coil on. It will now turn over when he kick starts it or with the elec start, but it will not fire, is anyone out there mechanically minded that may have an solution to this plz. p.s i have had difficulty with the bike mechanics i have approached as they do not want to touch it as it is an import. thanks kitten.

Welcome aboard Kitten, nice to have you here!! I know naff-all about mechanics so I'm as much use as a chocolate fire guard but have a gander around this forum as the answer might be on here somewhere. If not I'm sure someone will pop along later and help.

Have you tried taking the scooter to a small backstreet garage? Normally they're not too fussy on what make of bike they work on as at the end of the day they want your money.
