hi
can anyone please please help me
i have a jinlun 125t-13 registered dec 2005 and ive got a problem (big)
as my bike reaches 40 mph the rev limiter starts to come in.
ive rang recol at blackpool and asked him whats going on , he told me its either the drive belt or the clutch. so i checked the drive belt out (good condition) so i bought a new clutch and had it fitted by bennetts of barnsley. in total £142.70p including parts
i still have the same problem !!!
full description of problem -
as you approach 40 - 45 mph the bike starts to try and slow me down , its only doing 6000rpm it is exactly the same as when you get to 50-55 mph and 8000 rpm. theres no problem when the bike is on its stand and goes to 8000rpm, so its only when under load
sometimes you feel a large flat spot 30- 35 mph then it gets going again and goes to 50 mph before cutting in, its blown the rubber breather pipe off the exhuast twice. its had a new plug, oil, and front pads fitted by me ! (thats the next problem)
i would like to know is it carb or electrical as its not drive
front pads- my front pads started to make a loud squeaky / grinding noise then started to bind on. i was told to take the gold sprindg at the back of the pads out . yes the problem has stopped but now they chatter like a pair of false teeth.
what side on the gold spring are the 2 little teeth supposed to be on ??
ive bled the brakes totally with new fluid, reset the piston, then bled again, as soon as i put the spring back in were off agian
can anyone please help me or give me positive advise on which way to go
