nice, so you wouldent get him a baotian or a taishan then? Having seen the quality of them no. He needs something reliable that i dont have to fix every week Having said that they are cheap, i bought a commuter for £50 as the guy was so fed up with it and sold it on ebay for £350. The aerox i got was brought to me to replace the head gasket and the lighting coil but he could not afford my labour so i gave him £200 for it #thumbs_up#

While my 4 stroke baotian is being taken to a garage for repairs, my insurance company has given me a free hire bike for the time being. any boy im glad i own a 4 stroke. The 2 stroke hire bike is awfull. You can here me coming a mile off!! And my Baotian is alot faster even if it has a slightly slower acceleration. I just cant wait for my 4 stroke to come back.

I have a 2-stroke malaguti and I think its great, plenty of power and will do 50mph easily, its done about 7000 miles and is still running fine.
Although it only gets about 65mpg compared to 80mpg or whatever for a 4-stroke.

100 more like ;D Hypojam your right, the reason why i slagged it off a bit before even de-restricting it, is because Ive heard in this form that de-restricting it doesn't improve acceleration at all, and only gives u an extra 5-10mph tops

I've always thought the "100 mpg" figure was a bit optimistic. My Taishan only used to do about 80 mpg. #violin#

Im not sure what they learnt me but its a weird machine, its all set out wrong and your front is really heavy so its hard to turn corners. Also the helmet storage is exrtremley small. And it sounds like a faulty hairdryer....

Yeah it's funny how after having my scooter derestricted and constantly riding at over 50mph my fuel consumption has risen. #oops#

Dunno if you can get 100, but my 125 seems to get 80 to 90 on a commute (I don't travel very fast but I do keep up with the traffic). I use about a gallon a week and I do 90 miles (9 miles each way each day)
It's still embarrasing to fill the tank and get change from a fiver! #woohoo#
