Yep it happened to me and my sister in-law last night, doing about 30kph as we had just moved off from standstill and some f-ing woman just come out of hospital on f-knows what drugs, steps straight out in front of us and causes us to come off after the breaks went on hard, we are both fine, just a few scraps and bruises, bikes in very good shape, I was very surprised at it, after we was sliding along the road and all I could see was the bike moving away from us at some speed into the night on its side with sparks coming off the rear passengers foot rest that was still in the stuck out position, slow motion vision, and cars coming from the other direction, all great fun,
the woman who’s fault it was admitted she was to blame as she was on some medication from the hospital, she was rather sorry and took a bump from the curb as she was forced to jump out of our way, I could have knocked her the F out but im sure she did not plan this,
So my riding wounds are as follows, loss of skin to elbow area, loss of blood, bruised forearm and pain to the triceps, hips had a bang and blood grazed area and a bruise the size of a mans hand spread out, and ankle is twisted a bit,
And yes IV been back out on it this morning to get the milk!
