Hi. Recently my daughter's bought a new BT50QT-9 from Baotian UK. After 2 days, having problems starting it. Its Sunday so will contact them tomorrow, but have found this forum very useful for ideas as to correcting the problem. Battery on charge, was low after she kept on trying to start it . (She's only done short journeys so far, so bat had not had a chance to recoup). Will change spark plug as soon as I can. However we have had no luck in kick-starting it. is there a knack? It is up on centre stand; side stand is not out. Whats the best spark plug to get for this model? Also is it better to start it from the remote (once battery is charged again) or by the red start button near throttle? Many thanks Richard by the way, brilliant forum, very informative.

hi their richard red starter button requires less battery power, you need an NGK C7HSA and if u want to kick start it try standing behind it grabbing the parcel shelf and kicking it from that angle, cheers ally

Same scooter same dealer starts fab but needs a little bit of throttle from cold. Also first thing in the morning I let it warm up for a few minutes before riding off
