Hey folks,
THere's loads of good info on here about what type of spark plug to get to replace the naff chinese one, and my NGK arrived this morning! (4 days before the scoot arrives!)
There aren't any pics on the steps of changing the spark plug (probs because it's so outrageously easy to do), so as I don't yet have my scoot yet but I'm trying to get prepped up ready to get it sorted....
..could someone give me an initial pointer towards accessing the plug, ie... under the seat ? at the side of the engine ?
Much appreciated - I have tons of stuff printed off and hints & tips etc, all so I hopefully I won't get caught out when the bike arrives - I'm ready for it all... non functioning fuel gauges, badly set valve clearances, new spark plug, derestriction ....heh heh ....
Getting to the spark plug is the only bit that I don't yet have a pointer on - can you help oh masters of the scooter universe ? #cheers#
Dav.

if you open the seat you'll see 2 bolts at the back and 2 nuts at the bottom..... undo these and the large headed screw at the front(inside) remove the whole seat and you'll be able to see the HT lead and plug cap............ bobs yer uncle (MAYBE).............
.................... #sprint#
(you can do it without removing the seat but it is quite awkward)

If you use the box spanner, and the supplied screwdriver to turn it, there shouldn't be any problems with over tightening, and stripping the threads.
