HI all
im just about to undo the varator nut with an impact rench to change the rollers, when im tighterning the nut back up, when will i know when to stop becasue i dont ant to over tighten it.

Just guess Ive kinda gone by the rule that if the variator starts doing full 360 revolutions then stop ;D

lol ok i have now done it. and the first 10 seconds i thoght rubish as it didnt get over 20mph, but then it started going ok, i see what you mena about it revs the engine like mad, i evan think i may have a higher top speed!

Once the rollers bed in a bit the revs will drop slightly and everything will smooth out

gd gd, i think i may of noticed that the 20-30mph isent any difrent, i supose we cant expect to much can we

You'd be best doing it up with a torque wrench. Otherwise you risk b*****ing it up!

You'd be best doing it up with a torque wrench. Otherwise you risk b*****ing it up! There's no way of holding the crankshaft, so using a torque wrench is a no no
