so is it worth changing the rollers if they wear out so quickly? it depends what rollers you buy! I bought cheap unbranded rollers from ebay, and they worn away very fast If you buy good quality ones then they will last ages

hey hypojam, Going to get an impact wrench tomorrow so I will let you all know dmilo Because you do long journeys it might be a good idea for you to do a mix of your oringinal(6gram) and new(4gram) rollers. so your bike isnt allways revving flat out

So you can half number of 6 gram rollers and 4 gram rollers??? #rasta_cool# cool, i might do that. Make sure you don't make the variator unbalanced when mixing rollers. There has to be equal weight distributed in the variator other wise the whole transmission will shake its self to bits

I did get the rollers from ebay (£6.50 delivered), Hypojam said his ebay ones wore out quick, so I'm going to replace them with higher quality ones (Beedspeed, Malossi rollers)
The acceleration is much better, I used to get around 25mph up hill, now it'e just under 40! My top speed does seem to have got a little better too.
All round, the engine seems to run better at higher revs, it just sounds beter.
I would recommend changing the rollers to anyone, also USE AN IMPACT WRENCH, it makes the job so much easier!

Just pondering, would you need to inform the insurnace company that you have changed some parts of your bike? As all mofications are to be reported my insurer said.
