Well found Steve. At least we are now finding that parts are becoming available, so the previous arguments that you can't get parts for these scooters no longer stands. The prices seem extortionate though, but these will probably fall as more become available.

No idea as I didn't enquire about insurance, I did pick up a leaflet about Peugeot insurance but to be honest I imagine all they do is search a load of lenders and find you the best (or what they tell you is the best) deal. I'd rather do it myself to be on the safe side.

Hi there just wondering if anyone knows of a secondhand parts dealer for Taishian Scooters as my big sister came off my scooter and smashed the front in brake leavers and lights are needed hope some one can help thank you Tash

Welcome aboard Tash!! Getting spares (especially panels) for a Taishan is going to be a very tough job as there aren't any dealers, you may be able to pick up the odd engine part because all these Chinese scooters share the same engines but body panels is a whole different ball game. Your best bet is to keep an eye on ebay as usually once a month a Taishan will come up for spares or repair. Good luck.

It's me again. ;D There's a guy selling a Baotian wheel which doesn't sound very interesting but read the question he received and his reply just below the counter at the bottom of the page - very interesting!! EDIT: The page address is too long for this forum and it breaks up so go to www.ebay.co.uk and put 7995978271 into the search box.
