how do you know how much oils already in When the level is right, the oil will drip from the filling hole, which is also the level hole. When it stops dripping, the level is correct, and you can refit your bolt. Simple!

First off - never, never, never use automatic transmission fluid for the transmissions in scooters. "oldperson" is right in that it is hudraulic FLUID, not oil. It has very little lubricating properties. Use your common sence and put in 75/90 synthetic GEAR oil. The motor oil will do if you cant get the gear oil or are too cheap to spend the $7 for a quart of good Amsoil synthetic gear oil.
