It looks great, but I would be worried about someone unscrewing the mirror, and nicking the tax disc, mirror, and holder.

You need to use exhaust paint which can withstand the heat, otherwise normal paint will just bubble up.

i put some of the paint on my exhaust and it just bubbled up!!!! any reasons for this and did i do something wrong??? You're not supposed to put it over the hole at the end Was it a brand new exhaust, or a slightly rusting one? Did you clean it before painting, as described earlier?

I had loads left in the tin, you don't use hardly any when you paint it.
I think most scooter exhausts rust quickly unfortunately. #stickpoke#

Now your Down pipe looks better than the exhaust. Do you think that's what the other half of the tin is for? #woohoo#

Regarding tax discs, the law states that it should be on the nearside(left) and forward of the rider! I dont think anyone cares that much though. Of course if your stopped by a stroppy copper whos missis wouldnt let him-------

Great tip about the paint. I checked my exhaust and its already showing signs of rust. Bought a tin from Halfords today and am going to paint it if it ever stop raining.

You can use some silicone spray or oil to prevent the exhaust from getting rusted.

ive been rubbing oil into mine recently and it burns off but doesnt catch light or anything just gives it a nice shine and makes it nice and waterproof so i dont get any of thet steam coming off when its been sitting in the rain
