I wouldn't change a thing, I love this scooter to bits although a fuel gauge would be handy.

Like most scooter lights they're never going to compete with a car's headlights but they're adequate enough.

I ride 35 miles in the dark almost every morn 35 MILES! What are you riding? That has to be getting pretty frosty in the morning. You aren't that far south of me, & my 3 mile commute in the dark at 36degrees (F) x35MPH is downright chilly!

I went for a ride out today, I've no idea what the name of the village is where I ended up but it was about 20 miles away. What a lovely view, check out the lighthouse in the second pic.... I thought Norfolk was flat, but even the sea seems to be on a hill

My scooter is a Meitian 80cc Just out of curiosity, does Mass. consider your scoot a moped or motorcycle? In Michigan it would be a motorcycle. In MI anything 50cc+ or moves faster than 30MPH is a motorcycle! Luckily my little Taishan doesn't go faster than 30MPH. (wink-wink nudge-nudge ;D)

Hey Scootin, It takes me roughly 45 mins to go 35miles in the morning . I bought my winter gear from a motocycle shop got a great jacket and gloves . My scooter does 40 -45 mph, here in Mass its technicaly considered a motocycle but its only registered as a moped with 1200 miles no one has said anything to me dmilo

Dmilo: When you bought your 80cc bike, how fast did the dealer say it would go?

Hey Hypojam, I bought it from a dealer called Redstreak here in my home town He advertised up to 50 mph but Ive yet to come close to that fastest has been 45 once The average is 40-42. He tells me he can get it to go 45 -50 with some tweeking and minor mods. He has the same scooter as me all pimped out with lighter rollers ,exposed clutch and belt, upgraded transmission , bored out exhaust , and a upgraded air filter it is loud and fast 55+ I almost bought it from him but it was pretty scratched up thanks dmilo
