It arrived at 11:30 this morning and so far I've only been out for a short ride (got to run the engine in) but damn it's quick compared to my Taishan. The acceleration is unbelievable and I finally have brakes which can nearly throw me off the bike. ;D Here's some piccies and a short video: Here's the video: media.putfile.com/blaster-wmmClick on the link and wait about 25 seconds.

Cheers fellas!! Very nice...are you going to start a french scooter owners club now? I've started an East Anglian Scooter Club if that counts but not many people have shown much interest so if things don't pick up in the next few weeks I won't bother much with it.

Forgot to mention that since these pics were taken I've added my Oxford cabon fibre effect tax disc holder and put the tax disc the right way up. ;D
I paid nearly £15 for that holder so there was no way I was leaving it on the Taishan. I'm glad I took it off as the one that came with the bike was a cheap & nasty plastic one which probably cost a couple of quid.

Only problem now is I've got to run the engine in. No full throttle antics for 200 miles....

Might have a fancy tax disc holder but your tax disc looks upside down to me! Nice bike though!

It's looks fantastic Phil, lots of very nice high build quality touches (alloy footplates, sports exhaust etc). Also looks like it has decent legroom which was my only concern about the Ludix range.
If you got all that for under a grand then you did extremely well.
Looking forward to hearing how you get on with it.

...just noticed the new countdown to the birth of your Daughter, best of luck with that, probably the only thing you could do that is more stressful than owning a Taishan !!!

Yeah not long now until D-Day. The Peugeot is in a different class to the Taishan, I don't want to bad mouth Chinese scoots as mine never missed a beat but even the proudest of owners have to admit the build quality isn't all that. The Pug feels a lot more solid, with my Commuter it was like Buckaroo on bumpy roads but the Pug soaks it all up.

In a way I used to enjoy a good Buckaroo session, it could be quite funny sometimes.

Been for a few more rides on the scooter and damn I love it!!!!!!!! One of the best things apart from the rapid acceleration is the fact it doesn't die going up hills, if you're doing 30mph on the flat it'll still do 30mph up hill. There is one thing that you can all laugh at: It doesn't have a fuel gauge!! Strange but true, it has a temperature gauge but no fuel gauge only a low fuel warning light. Those crazy French people. ;D
