I wouldn't be waiting several weeks, during that time, they will have put your info at the bottom of an ever growing pile of complaints. When you contact them again your info will go back on top and gradually get buried again. Do not give them the opportunity to allow this to happen. Theres a couple of things you should remember strike when the iron's hot, keep it hot and dont let it die down. He who hesitates is lost. Be a winner stand your ground and start making BIG NOISES you might get some satisfaction. go for it let us know how you get on.. cheers

During that 'few more weeks' they will be driving around in thier company car that you have helped to pay for, while you have to sort out another alternative form of transport? yeh right!!!!! Also dont forget the time is ticking off your warranty, you hav'nt done any miles yet, so if you get any more problems down the road when you finally get it fixed you wont get diddly squat from them.......................because your warranties expired! You need to atleast secure some warranty compensation for none use of the bikes warranty due to manufactures fault. You really need to arm yourself with Trading Standards back-up. You local office will be glad to help, even if its only for advise, although they do like to get a solid case that they can later claim as a success to justify thier existence, you pay for the service through your council tax, you have every right to use them, there is no charge.

At the end of the day ( yuk!! I hate that fraze) all they need to do is take a shocker off another stock bike, let them wait for the replacement from China, not you.

If you really want to be that customer from hell, then I suggest you contact watchdog. They wont mess about with a bunch of cowboy back yarders. You might be doing everyone a favour too in bringing this to the publics attention if you do.
People like this dont give a flying toss about you, after all they have made the sale got your blood sweat and tears and waiting for another sucker to fall for there sweet talk of false promises.
After the amount of time you have been deprived of using your brand new bike, I'd be up in arms using every dirty trick in the book i could to create merry hell, including threats of going to the media. You forget, that once they sold you that bike they entered into a contract to guarantee their product, which they have failed to do. Under consumer affirs it is the dealer who is responsible not the manufacturer. If this applies to every retail shop in the high street it also applies to them too. They are not above the law and there are no exceptions or excuses. I would be taking your bike back and demanding a replacement immediately and take someone with you as a witness so they cant brush you off again with lousy excuses. Now whats that mob called citezens advice.? maybe they can help. Go for it Simar.

Ok no response from Trading standards as yet, so I phoned them only to be told that their computer isn't working so they can't respond to any emails at the moment. They transferred me to consumer direct as they would be able to give me advice in the meantime, WRONG! "I'm sorry but can you phone back on Monday" hm.....this country is really pi**ing me of just now. So on the phone to BTS Motorsport again, "I'm sorry but the supplier in China hasn't responded to any of our emails" Woooooooooot " but we will try again" I feel my blood pressure building by the second, so I said "can't you take a part of a new bike" reply " No we don't have any left in stock" Hm......well I said "thats funny you have 2 listed on ebay at the moment "eh eh so we do, I'll have a word with the manager and phone you back" well you guessed it no return call as usual. So I give them an hour and phone them back "I had a quick word with her but then she took a call and would you believe she's still on it, I'll get her to phone back when she's free" Bollocks I'll never get a call back so I'm on here to relieve the tension. I don't believe it they have actually phoned back, they are going to take the part off a new bike I hope

Good on you!!! Now you know hey have the part go and get it!!! Dont give one quarter. You have no reason why your next time on here is to tell us you're back on the road! Good luck. You might just inform them of this forum, they do know of it as I told them that I had left good remarks acouple of months ago.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh promises, promises, promises, sounds good if you keep up the pressure and give them a bit of stick. Sometimes you get a result. But, you haven't got the part yet? Was this another of their so called promises in order to stall for more time? When you have the part in your hands then you have achieved what you set out to do and got the result you hoped for. Until then keep your fingers crossed and hope they stick to their word. If you dont hear anything by tuesday, follow it up and give them merry hell. If you get the part, you will have learnt a lesson in never giving up, and always striking while the irons hot... Good Luck Simar, I hope all turns out well for you...

If they are so confident of that then why cant you have one off a bike now and they put the one from china back on next Friday? I would'nt stand for any more of their games.

Go there tell them if they dont give you the part this instant you are going to put trading standards and watchdog onto them for failing to honour their guarantees and providing you with a lousy service, which is probable how they treat other customers too. Tell them in no uncertain terms that after watchdog gets stuck into them nobody will ever buy a bike off of them again. Then put your mobile on their counter get out a pad with some numbers on it and say, "Right you have duck shoved me enough and fed me with misleading information." "You either supply me with the part now or take your chances with Watchdog, whats it going to be." I bet he changes his tune quick smart. Make sure you have a witness with you when you do it.
